BIOGRAPHY
Most of the time Corinna Clendenen lives in Connecticut. She’s a novelist, journalist and essayist who plays the minor role of Milly in her audio book, Double Time.
Corinna grew up in Pennsylvania, has a Bachelor's degree in Art History and a Master's degree in Cinema Studies. She studied fiction writing at Bread Loaf, The University of Iowa and Yale's Summer Session.
The story of An Artful Affair comes out of the years she spent in the New York art world, as an auctioneer and art critic. Working for the uptown auction houses of both Sotheby's and Christie's, she lived downtown, reviewing artist’s shows and studios for various newspapers and magazines. These vastly divergent experiences later coalesced in the novel.
Double Time comes from her imagination, from the energizing spirit of new music, from a wish to create a female character who isn’t punished for being brave enough to reinvent herself.
